ConnecticutAero Tech School, a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved school thatspecializes in the training of aviation maintenance technicians, will hold anopen house for prospective students on Sat., June 12, 2021, between 9:00 a.m.and 12:00 p.m. at 500 Lindbergh Drive, Hartford, CT.
The openhouse is open to high school seniors, post-graduates, guidance and careercounselors, certified technicians seeking employment, and anyone interested inlearning more about an exciting career in the aircraft maintenance industry.Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the school and meet the staff.
Thetwo-year Aviation Maintenance Technician program provides training that enablesthe student to develop operative skills that meet the license requirements ofthe Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Students studyin a facility equipped for practical hands-on training and are exposed to avariety of theory and practical classes including metalwork, woodwork,hydraulics, electrical, painting, engine overhaul and more. Upon successfulcompletion of the General, Airframe and Power Plant curriculum, students areeligible to take the FAA examinations to certify as an Airframe and Power PlantAviation Maintenance Technician.
Graduatesfrom this program may obtain jobs as airport mechanics and technicians foraircraft and power plant companies.
